Your Kit at a Glance

This is a dry processed eyeshadow pressing kit that includes mini tools and components to create your own hand pressed eye shadow pan.

You’ll work with eye-safe dry pigments and pressing materials, giving you an understanding of how shadows are assembled and how their performance is influenced by technique.

Each kit includes one color. You’ll receive enough materials to press the same shade up to 3 times, allowing room for practice, variation, and experimentation..

This kit is for:

  • Adults and teens (16 and older) interested in the science and structure behind makeup

  • Individuals who want to explore how pigments blend, shift, and layer

  • Anyone curious about the production steps that lead to a finished eyeshadow

  • Those who want to experiment with building their own colors and textures

  • This kit is designed to stand on its own. In some cases, advanced tools and resources may be offered by invitation.

Using Your Finished Pan

Your finished pan is for personal use and experimentation only.

This is not a retail-ready cosmetic and is not for resale.

Because your shadow is hand pressed using dry components:

  • It must be applied gently with a clean applicator

  • It will feel softer than factory-pressed shadows

  • Handle with care: a drop can cause breakage, but you can always repress it—one of the advantages of learning this method

Workspace & Safety Notes

Treat this like a small-scale cosmetic chemistry project. You’ll need:

  • Safety gear

  • A clean, dry workspace

  • A well-ventilated area

  • Attention to keeping moisture away from the powders

  • Awareness that pigments may stain, so protect clothing and surfaces

These are cosmetic-grade dry powders and should be handled with patience and care. A bit of mess is normal as it’s part of the hands-on production process.

Minimal Components

Your kit contains tools and materials required to mix, press, and store your shadow. The setup is minimalistic and doesn’t require much space, making it suitable for small rooms, desks, or counters designated for crafting or experimentation.

Build Your Own Practice Palette

Your tin includes three pans, along with the option to apply magnets if you want to store or organize your colors.

Start with your first shade using the included materials. Then, if you order additional refill colors, you can expand and build a small practice palette, perfect for continuing your experimentation and observing how different formulations behave. This is a storage and exploration palette, not intended for travel.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your pressed eyeshadow will look beautiful and will behave like a hand pressed formula. This means:

A Soft Pressed Experience

This kit uses a powder only, beginner friendly system (no oils, no liquids) and your final pan will have a soft pressed, velvety texture.

Slight Surface Shedding Is Normal

The first time you test your pan with a brush, you may see a small amount of loose powder.

This is completely normal for hand pressing and will lessen as the pan settles over 12–24 hours.

  • Sponge applicators pick up smoother, more compact color.

  • Brushes naturally lift a bit more powder because of the bristle friction.
